These plans pay for the independent voice Studio on dessaai.net. Live Talk uses GPT-Live-1 and Text to Speech uses HeyGen. A subscription supplies credits for those tools. Dessa AI pricing plans
Choose an allowance based on how often you expect to speak or generate scripts. Starter supplies 660 credits per month, Pro supplies 2,000, and Max supplies 4,100. The balance works across both tools, so using credits for one task reduces what remains for the other. Prices and billing intervals appear on the plan cards.
Dessa AI pricing also includes different per-request limits. Starter supports calls up to 20 minutes and scripts up to 2,000 characters. Pro increases those limits to 45 minutes and 3,500 characters. Max supports calls up to 90 minutes and scripts up to 5,000 characters. Available credits can end a call before its maximum session length.
Calculate your voice usage before starting
Dessa AI pricing uses a time meter for live conversations and a character count for scripted audio. Live Talk costs one credit for each six-second block, rounded up. A 60-second call uses ten credits; a 61-second call uses eleven. At least three available credits are required to connect, and the Studio reserves credits before beginning a session. Unused reserved credits return after server-confirmed settlement.
Text to Speech costs one credit per 160 trimmed Unicode characters, rounded up for each request. A 160-character script uses one credit, 161 characters use two, and 321 use three. Spaces inside your script and punctuation count as characters. The preview in the tool uses the same counting rule, so check it before generating rather than estimating from a word count.
For a simple Dessa AI pricing example, a one-minute conversation and a 320-character narration use twelve credits in total: ten for the conversation and two for the script. Rewriting the script and generating it again is a new paid operation. Review names, punctuation, selected voice, and language first to avoid spending credits on an unintended input.
The output differs by task. A completed speech generation can be played and downloaded as WAV. A live conversation offers a downloadable text transcript. The transcript is a written record rather than an audio recording. You can compare these workflows in the voice model and product comparison before choosing which tool to use.
Dessa AI pricing and billing questions
When are credits added?
Credits are added after payment is confirmed. Returning from checkout alone does not establish a completed payment. Sign in with the account used for the purchase and refresh the Studio balance after confirmation. Contact support if the confirmed payment and your account balance do not agree.
How do annual plans work?
Annual plans are billed upfront, while credits are released monthly within the paid period. The monthly allowance is not multiplied into an immediately available yearly balance. Choose the billing interval on the plan cards to review the price before starting checkout. Dessa AI pricing applies to this service only.
Do unused credits carry over?
Unused credits carry over. Any due monthly allocations within a confirmed paid period are added when you return to the Studio. Changing plans does not create a second allocation for the same billing cycle. Check your current balance and displayed request limits before starting a longer task.
What if an operation fails?
Confirmed failed speech generations are refunded. An unresolved operation can be retried to recover its result; do not assume that an interrupted browser response means generation failed. Live sessions return unused reserved credits when settlement completes. The Studio shows errors and recovery controls when an operation needs attention.
Dessa AI pricing does not include a free generation allowance. You can hear public research recordings without a purchase, then return to the Studio when you are ready to use paid tools.
